Updating my staff about becoming a low carbon business

In order to attract new businesses and new markets, employees and companies need to be ahead of the game, making sure staff understand and can deal with new technologies and ideas.  It will be essential in the future to enable them to keep up with current trends, comply with legislation, meet the demands of industry and most importantly, win new contracts.

How we can help you

Free Construction Support

  • If you are in the building sector and want to know more about the legislation and financial incentives that the Government are putting in place to support sustainable construction the SMART programme can help.  SMART will be running a series of free workshops on Feed-in Tariffs, Part L regulation changes and government incentives on renewable heating.  These will be across the South East of England and will be free for all South East based small and medium sized businesses.

Free Business Support

  • If you have a particular interest or focus on the Feed-in Tariff (FiT), the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) and wish to see how those drivers can benefit your business you can join the FLASH Renewable Energy Network or FLASH Electrical Services Network to receive FREE business support and access to workshops, forums and networking events.

Funding for Sustainable Construction

  • Visit one of our demonstration centres to see, touch and feel sustainable building materials and talk to local experts.  Funding may be available for travel and overnight accommodation expenses to visit one of the UK sites.
